The Philadelphia Eagles are heading toward an offseason of change.
Their season ended on Sunday as they lost to the San Francisco 49ers and fell well short of defending their Super Bowl title.
Now, decisions on the likes of A.J. Brown and the coaching staff are going to take the spotlight.
But there's another notable piece to this: Dallas Goedert is a free agent.

The standout tight end just completed his contract, and it's not obvious that the Eagles will be able to bring him back.
"At 31, he'll want to cash in on what probably will be his final good years, and the Eagles don't have a ton of cap space to pay him," ESPN's Ben Solak wrote on Monday. "But they also don't have a good TE2 waiting in the wings."
The Eagles actually don't even have a tight end under contract past this season. Grant Calcaterra and Kylen Granson are set to be free agents, too.

Goedert played 15 games in the regular season and caught 60 passes for 591 yards and 11 touchdowns.
He also did his part to try and keep the Eagles' season going. Goedert scored the first two touchdowns against the 49ers, a short rushing TD on a jet sweep and then a receiving TD from Jalen Hurts.
Now, Goedert will have to decide what he prioritizes on the open market. He's proven he can still be effective, and tight ends often age gracefully, so Goedert should get a nice payday from somewhere, even if it's not Philly.
