A.J. Brown is coming off his best week of the season.
But now, the Philadelphia Eagles' top wide receiver has his status for Week 8 in doubt due to injury.
Brown missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury.
The Eagles will have two more official injury reports, coming out later on Thursday and then on Friday. Both could provide further clues to Brown's availability for Sunday's 1 p.m. Kickoff against the New York Giants.
Brown just put up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Week 7 in a win over the Minnesota Vikings. After a mostly quiet season, it was a huge breakthrough game.
The Eagles clearly would like Brown to be able to follow that up, but at the moment, it's uncertain.

Is A.J. Brown playing this week?
Brown's status for Week 8 will only be determined as the weekend approaches.
His DNP from Wednesday's injury report was not a good sign. And a hamstring injury never sounds great, as those often have the potential to nag and linger.
Given that it's not clear when Brown was hurt, there's some mystery around his availability.
There was also some initial suggestion Wednesday that Brown actually sat out practice for a veteran's rest day, but if that had been the case, the Eagles would've designated it as such on the injury report.
If Brown is out, it'd mean more snaps for Jahan Dotson, but not necessarily a ton of targets. The Eagles would probably lean more than usual on Devonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Saquon Barkley.
