The slow start to the 2025 season for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown continues.
Browns recorded just six catches for 35 yards over the first two weeks of the season. After tallying just one catch for eight yards in Week 1, Brown posted five catches for 27 yards in Week 2.
Brown is once again off to a quiet start in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams. Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is A.J. Brown playing today?
Yes, Brown is active, healthy and in the lineup, he just hasn't been getting any action from quarterback Jalen Hurts. Brown has been targeted once, but the pass fell incomplete.
Hopefully things will get better in the second half.
The lack of targets Brown has seen through two-plus games is puzzling.
One has to wonder if there's some kind of rift in his chemistry with Hurts, or if he's simply not getting open because of good coverage from opposing defenses.
Either way, the Eagles have got to find a way to get one of their best playmakers more involved, especially with a 12-point deficit at the half of the Week 3 game versus the Rams.
