Who is the NFL's woman ref?
The NFL has multiple female officials. The one working during Bills-Jaguars is Sarah Thomas.
Thomas is the down judge on the crew of referee Brad Allen.
Thomas was hired as a full-time official in 2015. She was the first woman hired as a full-time official by the NFL.
She worked the Super Bowl in 2021, Super Bowl LV.
There are now multiple female officials in the NFL, with Thomas having helped pave the way.
