With Josh Allen still day-to-day with a UCL injury, there's a very real chance Keenum will be the Bills' starter against his old squad. It would be his first start since Week 18 last season (as a Cleveland Brown) and his first start under center for Buffalo.
Allen's injury comes at an inopportune time for the Bills, who lost their second game of the season last time out to their division rivals, the New York Jets. The Jets were able to keep the Bills' offense in check and ran all over their defense en route to a 20-17 victory. It dropped the Bills to 6-2 and left the AFC East in a tight race at the top, with the Jets and Dolphins both lurking close behind at 6-3.
