| Position | Player |
| 1 | TreVeyon Henderson -- QUES |
| 2 | Rhamondre Stevenson |
| 3 | D'Ernest Johnson |
Henderson and Stevenson have been the 1A and 1B for the Patriots this season. Both have had trouble at times holding onto the football, but the future looks bright for the rookie. While Henderson is sidelined, Stevenson will likely be the main back. The only other active running back for the Patriots is Johnson, who has been used sparingly with only four carries in the four games he has been active.
