The Chiefs and Seahawks face off in a battle of teams that didn't enjoy success in Week 1 of the preseason. Kansas City fell to the Cardinals, 20-17, and Seattle tied the Raiders, 23-23.
Last week, none of the Chiefs' three backup quarterbacks performed well after Patrick Mahomes threw one pass before departing. Bailey Zappe threw two interceptions, and Gardner Minshew and Chris Oladokun completed six of their passing attempts for 54 and 39 yards, respectively.
Seattle used Drew Lock and rookie Jalen Milroe under center last week as it rested several key pieces on offense, including Sam Darnold and Cooper Kupp. Those two and other starters are expected to play Friday against Kansas City.
