Sam Darnold was headed towards another rough performance against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night, but he turned it around to produce perhaps the best win of his career.
The Seattle Seahawks were down 30-16 in the fourth quarter, as Darnold had a couple turnovers to put Seattle in a hole. From there, with a little luck and help from his receivers, Darnold brought the Seahawks back to not only win the game, but clinch a playoff spot and take control of the NFC's No. 1 seed.
Darnold's career has been full of rough moments, so it must've felt good for him to produce a high-level comeback on national television in such a big game. Here's a look at how Darnold performed against the Rams.

Darnold's numbers didn't pop on Thursday night, but he turned it on when it mattered the most. All four of Darnold's touchdowns and two-point conversions came in the fourth quarter and overtime, which followed his two early second-half interceptions.

Sam Darnold highlights vs. Rams
Darnold had a quiet first half, as Seattle leaned on the running game and defense. Additionally, it appeared that Darnold was headed for another rough night against the Rams, who had his number previously, when he threw two interceptions.
However, Darnold turned it around from there, leading the Seahawks to a 16-point comeback and overtime win. The veteran quarterback produced two touchdowns and two two-point conversions, as every point mattered in the win.

On that final drive in overtime, Darnold made his best throws of the night, including dimes to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp.
