The NFL will take to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time this season. The matchup will feature a soundtrack all its own.

The Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns are slated to meet atop one of the Premier League's crown-jewel venues. The site will also play host to a notable --  and brief -- concert. During the halftime period of Sunday's game, the league will roll out the red carpet for one of London's best musical performers: Raye.

Raye has already left a lasting legacy in London's musical scene at the age of 27. Here's what you need to know about the musician who is set to take the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium concourses by storm on Sunday.

Who is Raye?

Raye is a British singer-songwriter tapped to perform the halftime show during the Vikings and Browns' clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

A seven-time BRIT Award winner and three-time Grammy nominee, the London native has already made her mark on the international stage. Her 2023 release, "My 21st Century Blues," garnered widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike, climbing the charts in 14 different countries.

When she isn't offering pensive serenades, Raye is writing them. She is a prominent lyricist, co-writing tracks for Beyonce, Charli XCX, John Legend and Little Mix, among other notable artists.

Raye is slated to release her second album in 2026. She released her first single from the tape in September.

"I'm very grateful to NFL for inviting me and the band to perform during this halftime show," Raye said in a release. "Hopefully we can provide a memorable and entertaining moment for the crowd and viewers at home."

Where is Raye from?

Raye hails from Tooting, a district in South London. She spent much of her childhood in Croydon, attending Woodcote High School and the BRIT School before dropping out.

Raye's biggest hit is "Escapism." The track became a hit on TikTok and surged Raye up the charts, becoming the first tune of her's to top Ireland, Denmark and United Kingdom.

Other notable Raye tracks include "Worth It", "Oscar Winning Tears" and "Suzanne." She has also featured on notable tracks "Prada", "You Don't Know Me" and "Bed."
