How does Houston get to recover a week removed from a convincing loss versus the best quarterback in the NFL? By playing the reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and a high-powered Baltimore team fresh off a blowout win of Cleveland in Week 1.

The Texans (0-1) fell 34-20 to Kansas City in the opening game of the 2020 NFL season in a fashion not nearly as close as the score may suggest. The seat is already warm for coach Bill O'Brien who is facing tremendous backlash for several of his roster decisions that included trading star wideout DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona (Hopkins had 14 catches for 151 yards in Week 1). David Johnson, who the Texans received in return for Hopkins, did have an impact on last week's game with 11 carries for 77 yards and a touchdown, to go with three catches for 32 yards.

The Ravens (1-0) picked up right where they left off last year's regular season performance, silencing the Browns hype in 38-6 fashion. First-round draft pick Patrick Queen made a splashy performance with a team-high eight tackles, including a sack and a forced fumble. Jackson tossed three touchdowns, two by way of tight end Mark Andrews, and led the team in rushing with 45 yards. No quarterback has more three-plus passing touchdown outings since 2019 than Jackson does.

Baltimore is around a touchdown favorite over Houston and has a good history to support that. Ravens coach John Harbaugh is 7-2 versus the Texans in his career, including a 41-6 drubbing last season in which the Ravens recorded seven sacks and racked up 491 yards on offense.
