The Steelers are now in a tailspin and have lost four of their last five games after falling to the Saints 31-28 in Week 16.
With the loss, Pittsburgh fell into second place in the AFC North, one-half game behind the Ravens.
Ben Roethlisberger threw for 380 yards and three touchdowns, but the Steelers still fell short.
Next week the Steelers return home to host the Bengals as they desperately need a win if they want to have any chance at making the playoffs.
