The weather forecast for the AFC Championship game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots is not supposed to be pleasant.
With a spot in the Super Bowl on the line, the Patriots will not only have to overcome their historic struggles at Mile High, but also potentially brutal weather conditions.

Broncos-Patriots weather forecast
According to NFL Weather, the kickoff temperature at Mile High Stadium will be 17°F, with a wind chill of-13°F. In addition: slight chance of light snow, accompanied by wind gusts up to 10 mph.
If the current forecast is correct, it will be their coldest game of the season. The National Weather Service issued a cold weather advisory for many of the towns neighboring Denver, although Colorado's capital city is presently stuck in hazardous weather outlook status as of Saturday afternoon.
Will it snow during Broncos-Patriots?
As mentioned above, NFL Weather predicts a chance of light snow, whereas the National Weather Service forecast predicts mostly sunny weather on Sunday, with a 20% probability of snow after 11 a.m. Local time.
However, the snow isn't the main concern here -- it's the extreme cold.
