Week 6 in the NFL brought more surprises and with it, big changes in the league's hierarchy, starting at the top at No. 1 and going all the way No. 32.
It's time again to check on how every team is doing from, best to worst, and who's trying to break from the muddled middle in between with the midseason point just around the corner:
NFL Power Rankings
1. Buffalo Bills 4-1 (previous ranking: 3)
The Bills were stunned by not finishing their home game vs. the Patriots with a victory and instead their first loss. The offense has plenty but it might need a more consistent playmaker for Josh Allen. The defense needs a take-charge closer for bigger games.

2. Green Bay Packers 3-1-1 (5)
The Packers did more defensive flexing against the shorthanded Bengals at home and also found the right blend of offensive balance and explosiveness with Jordan Love and Josh Jacobs.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-1 (8)
The Buccaneers are getting done with more dynamic offense even with injuries thanks to Baker Mayfield balling out with all the needed big passes and running plays. The defense also made a key statement for Todd Bowles in slowing down the 49ers.
4. San Francisco 49ers 4-2 (1)
The 49ers have worked on surviving through plenty of offensive injuries and losing Nick Bosa from the pass rush. Fred Warner might be the hardest player to replace for his intangibles and the defense did fall apart without him in Tampa.

5. Philadelphia Eagles 4-2 (4)
The Eagles have gone from looking unbeatable to a shocking two-game losing streak with the offense out of whack enough around Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley. The concern on defense has been giving up more big plays than the team can make on the other side.
6. Kansas City Chiefs 3-3 (11)
The Chiefs are surging back up at the right time as their offense keeps looking more dangerous with each passing week, now with Rashee Rice ready to return. Patrick Mahomes can keep them red-hot for a while.
7. Detroit Lions 4-2 (2)
The Lions took their second outdoor setback of the season in Kansas City, the first since getting beat up in Green Bay. They will be happy to be home and go back into shootout mode with the Buccaneers in prime time.
8. Pittsburgh Steelers 4-1 (7)
The Steelers have put together their pass rush again with T.J. Watt and the blitz leading the way, flexing typical defense against the Vikings and Browns in big back-to-back wins. That has made Aaron Rodgers' job is so much easier.

9. Indianapolis Colts 5-1 (11)
It's hard to believe the Colts with Shane Steichen have a better record than his previous team, the Eagles. But it's true with Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor making a great 1-2 punch to move the ball along with Tyler Warren plus timely pressure defense.
10. Los Angeles Rams 4-2 (10)
The Rams got a shell of a Ravens team without Lamar Jackson and got their offensive rolling after a slow start. Now they are concerned that Puka Nacua will miss some time to hurt that offense, starting in Week 7 in London vs. the Jaguars.

11. Washington Commanders 3-2 (12)
The Commanders are hoping Jayden Daniels can keep it going, helping their spread offense which also got a big traditional running game boost last week. A Monday night win over the Bears that doesn't need another last-second Hail Mary would be preferable.
12. Los Angeles Chargers 4-2 (13)
The Chargers needed to rev up Justin Herbert to Ladd McConkey without key stars Omarion Hampton and Quentin Johnston in Miami and also found plenty of running game to avoid a tough upset and end a two-game skid. That was big for Jim Harbaugh to keep his team in control of the AFC West.
13. New England Patriots 4-2 (15)
The Patriots avoided a potential trap against the Saints thanks to Drake Maye continuing his sizzling play as a downfield passer. Mike Vrabel is doing his share of defensive-minded and ace situational coaching.

14. Seattle Seahawks 4-2 (17)
The Seahawks are finding their defensive groove with Mike Macdonald and seem to manufacture whatever offense is needed to do enough, now led by big plays from Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

15. Jacksonville Jaguars 4-2 (6)
The Jaguars need to find consistently balanced and explosive offense for Liam Coen to help an active defense that's keeping them in games with sacks and takeaways. The flashes with Trevor Lawrence need to become regular.

16. Denver Broncos 4-2 (14)
The Broncos had some unexpected return to offensive struggles with Bo Nix as they were a little jetlagged in London. But Nik Bonitto and the loaded pass defense dominated again to make that a moot point.
17. Minnesota Vikings 3-2 (16)
The Vikings need to decide which QB is healthiest and best to operate the Kevin O'Connell passing offense coming out of a bye. They might be motivated to make it a Carson Wentz revenge game at home vs. the Eagles.
18. Carolina Panthers 3-3 (23)
The Panthers are still learning how to win with a more confident Bryce Young and more understanding Dave Canales, but they are getting there in a hurry with their young playmakers coming through at home. They can keep it going with the winless Jets at home next.
19. Chicago Bears 2-2 (18)
The Bears have a big potential breakout moment with Caleb Williams in Ben Johnson's offense on Monday night if the No. 1 overall pick from 2024 can outduel the No. 2, Daniels. It's also needed to keep up in the loaded NFC North.
20. Dallas Cowboys 2-3-1 (19)
The Cowboys' offense is doing its part every week even without CeeDee Lamb with Dak Prescott lighting it up in a pass-heavy attack alongside George Pickens and Jake Ferguson. The defense, however, will lead to one step back with every step forward.

21. Atlanta Falcons 2-2 (20)
The Falcons had a bye to find some more efficiency and consistency with their talented young offense led by Michael Penix Jr. The order is taller for the defense on Monday night with the Bills visiting.
23. Houston Texans 2-3 (21)
The Texans should feel good about winning two straight after a brutal start so they could take all-around positives into the bye. They need to stay on track with the Seahawks and 49ers back-to-back so they don't dig a deeper hole in the division behind the surprising Colts and Jaguars.
23. Arizona Cardinals 2-4 (22)
The Cardinals were game offensively with Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. out in Indianapolis. But their overall defensive issues vs. the run and pass doomed them again.

24. Cincinnati Bengals 2-4 (25)
The Bengals got exactly what they wanted with Joe Flacco minus Joe Burrow in Green Bay, except for a win. He protected the ball and made their offense much more competitive in a tougher matchup. Flacco vs. the Steelers is huge next.

25. New York Giants 2-4 (28)
The Giants are getting exactly what they want from new rookie fan favorites Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo to rev up the offense and inspire the entire team for Brian Daboll. Now let's see it if can be good enough to save Daboll's job.
26. Baltimore Ravens 1-5 (24)
The Ravens have a realization their season, for all intents and purposes of making the playoffs and pushing for the Super Bowl, is done. Now it's about finding respectable offense with Tyler Huntley and Lamar Jackson and continuing to fight hard with defensive limitations.
27. Las Vegas Raiders 2-4 (27)
The Raiders got their ugly win against a team worse than them in overall game plan and execution, the Titans. Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly get a one-week reprieve before seeing Andy Reid and the Chiefs next week.
28. Cleveland Browns 1-5 (26)
The Browns need to give Dillon Gabriel a long look as a third-round rookie QB, but it was difficult to watch him get sacked six times by the Steelers with little hope for the passing or running game. The now full-evaluation season will be a long one.

29. Miami Dolphins 1-5 (29)
The Dolphins went through the motions at times despite their game effort against the Chargers. Mike McDaniel seems to be very close to the end of the line, with a close late loss breakdown hurting more than any blowout.
MORE: Does player-only meeting spell doom for McDaniel in Miami?
30. New Orleans Saints 1-5 (30)
The Saints keep marching to a potential date with Arch Manning in the 2026 draft, which Spencer Rattler is trying to prevent with steady improved play under Kellen Moore. But their defense can't help much anymore.
31. Tennessee Titans 1-5 (31)
The Titans can't generate the needed offensive support for Cam Ward to even get a fair evaluation. It's a shame, because their defense is doing as much as possible to keep them in games.

32. New York Jets 0-6 (32)
The Jets somehow seem more dysfunctional with Aaron Glenn and Tanner Engstrand coaching them, despite their Lions work, than they were with Robert Saleh, Nathaniel Hackett and Aaron Rodgers. The decision-making and scheming everywhere have let down so badly.
