Updated 2026 NFL Draft order: Titans, Giants on pace to claim top selections entering Week 12 image

With a third of the season left to play, plenty of teams are hoping to assert themselves as postseason contenders. Others are dreaming of spring.

Football is a ruthless entity, replete with shady robber-barons and questionable business practices. Still, there is one safeguard in place to help struggling sides obtain quality talent: the NFL Draft.

The 2026 NFL Draft features a motley crew of captivating talents, from enticing — if somewhat unknown — QB prospects to high-potential defenders. For teams circling down the drain in the cellar of the league, draft-eligible players are the light at the end of the tunnel. That's especially true for the Titans (1-9), Giants (2-9), Browns (2-8), Saints (2-8) and Jets (2-8), all of whom could stake a claim for the No. 1 pick once the dust settles on the regular season.

So, just what does the 2026 NFL Draft order look in Week 12? AllSportsPeople has the details.

Quarterbacks continue to reign supreme, although there are a pair of notable defenders attracting interest at the top of the draft board. Miami's Rueben Bain is the odds-on favorite to hear his name called first; the EDGE is considered an elite prospect, pairing a harrowing frame with swift feet and a wide array of feints and tricks to get beyond blockers.

Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese is also drawing rave reviews, helping anchor the Buckeyes' rearguard. Ohio State concedes just 7.5 points per contest, the best mark in the country. Reese is a major reason why.

As for the hurlers, Heisman hopefuls Fernando Mendoza, Ty Simpson and Dante Moore lead the way, charming scouts with their poise and creativity inside and outside the pocket.

Other notable talents include Arizona State wideout Jordyn Tyson, Ohio State safety Caleb Downs, Clemson DL Peter Woods, Utah OT Spencer Fano and Auburn EDGE Keldric Faulk.
