When Week 13 began, the Chicago Bears found themselves sitting on top of the NFC North. The Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions were directly on their heels with the Minnesota Vikings (4-7) bringing up the division's rear.

After the Thanksgiving and Black Friday action, the NFC North now looks very much like a two-team race between the Bears and Packers, with both Chicago and Green Bay winning as underdogs in Week 13.

Here is more on how the Bears' win over the Eagles impacts the the NFC North division standings in Week 13.

The Bears' win ensures the division order won't change entering Week 14, as Chicago maintained its half-game lead over the Packers with a road upset of the Eagles on Friday. What did change is the Lions' place in the race. While Detroit could have finished the weekend on top of the division if all went their way, the Lions sit a full two games behind the Bears and 1.5 games behind the Packers, who also own the head-to-head tiebreaker after a season sweep.

There are only five weeks left in the regular season. Chicago still has two games against Green Bay and has Detroit in Week 18. Barring a monumental comeback by Minnesota, those three teams figure to be in the mix for the NFC North title as the regular season comes to a close, but the Lions need some help to win the division.
