A majority of that money likely came from his two NFL signing bonuses thus far, with the first being an $11.085 million bonus as a rookie with the Bears, then a $15 million signing bonus with the Jets as a free agent.

Justin Fields NFL career earnings
According to Spotrac, Fields has accumulated $18,871,956 in career earnings as of August 2025. Most of that was from his rookie signing bonus, which amounted to $11.085 million.
Fields was in a somewhat rare instance when he played for multiple teams on his NFL rookie deal as a former first-round quarterback. He played the first three years of his rookie deal with the Bears, but was then traded to the Steelers in March 2024, when he had one year left on his deal.

In September 2023, Fields signed a deal with Reebok, waiting to choose a major clothing/shoe company until he was a few years into his NFL career.
"Most guys will sign with Nike, Adidas or Jordan Brand coming out of college, but when I declared for the draft I decided I didn’t want to. I felt like that was what everyone else was doing, and I wanted to take my own path. I didn’t sign any athletic brand endorsement deal during my rookie season, but Reebok and I had mutual interest because we both take risks and do things our own way," Fields told Hypebeast in 2023. Justin Fields business ventures and philanthropy
Even outside of his endorsements, Fields has been known to have other business endeavors off the gridiron, including philanthropic ventures.
Fields has spoken out for mental health advocacy in the past, including being open about dealing with anxiety and managing his epilepsy. In 2023, for Mental Health Awareness Month, Fields filmed a video for the Bears that detailed his breathing exercises and how he relaxes. During National Epilepsy Awareness Month in 2022, Fields spoke to ESPN about his experience with the neurological disorder.
"I know when I have [a seizure] coming, I just forget what I'm doing, zone out and then boom, 30 seconds later be locked in, and then I'll do it two or three times," Fields said. "So once I do it two or three times, then I know something's coming."
Fields also has his own foundation, the "Justin Fields Foundation," which is "dedicated to strengthening communities through focused grantmaking and strategic partnerships in the areas of youth empowerment, scholastic achievement, health, wellness and leadership development." Where does Justin Fields live?
While Fields has been a member of the Jets and Steelers, details on his living situations in both New York and Pittsburgh are unknown.
However, in 2024, Fields listed his former Chicago home for $2.1 million following his exit from the Bears organization. According to the Chicago Tribune, that house was in Lake Forest and was 5,876 square feet, and Fields had bought it in 2021 for $1.325 million.
The Chicago home included six full bathrooms, five fireplaces, a family room with a two-story ceiling, a home theater, a gym and more. Per Redfin, Fields' former Chicago house was sold in May 2025 for $1.7 million.
