If a tie is like kissing a sibling, then what's a tie between division rivals?

MORE: Updates, highlights of Giants-Commanders rematch in Week 15

When the Commanders and Giants met in Week 13, it resulted in a pretty dissatisfying 20-20 draw. Now, the two have a score to settle (and a tie to break) when they meet on "Sunday Night Football."

Both teams are fighting for a playoff spot, but the two may be heading in opposite directions in their ultimate meeting of the 2022 regular season. The Commanders are 6-1-1 in their last eight games, while the Giants' hot start has been stymied as they have slumped to 1-4-1 in their last six.

While Taylor Heinicke hasn't been a difference-maker for the Commanders, his confidence has certainly seeped into the team, helping stabilize the QB position this season. Now, he has an opportunity to down an NFC East rival and continue pushing the Commanders closer to a playoff spot — and earn himself another pair of Jordans in the process.

On the other side, the Giants have come back down to Earth following a hot start. The offensive roster deficiencies have caught up to New York, with the team's passing attack slipping to the bottom of the NFL this season.
