Familiar NFC East foes Philadelphia and Washington will meet once again on Sunday in what should be a fascinating Week 3 matchup.
The Eagles are off to a hot start in 2022 with impressive wins in their first two games. They dispatched the Detroit Lions in Week 1 — although it ended much closer than Philly fans would have wanted — and made light work of the Minnesota Vikings at home in Week 2.
Third-year quarterback Jalen Hurts has looked very comfortable running the offense, no doubt helped by the offseason addition of star receiver A.J. Brown. The duo has already connected 15 times for 224 yards through the first two weeks of the new campaign.
Many are hyping up the Eagles as potential Super Bowl contenders this year, but the Commanders are hoping to take them down a peg.

Washington started the season with a 28-22 win over the Jaguars but fell to a bad loss in Week 2 against the Lions. Former Eagle Carson Wentz has been given free rein to air it out, with 87 pass attempts through the first two games, but the results have been mixed. He's tied for NFL lead with 7 touchdown passes, but he's tossed 3 interceptions already too.
The Commanders fell behind 22-0 to the Lions last week before putting some points on the board to make the final score (36-27) look respectable. They'll need a better defensive performance this time out if they want to slow down Hurts and his offense.
