The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers' rivalry is one of the NFL's most historic. It got a facelift ahead of the 2025 season.

The Cowboys and Packers have been locked in conflict for time immemorial. From the Ice Bowl and the 1995 NFC Championship to the "Dez Caught It" game in the 2014 NFC Divisional Round, the famous foes have been at each other's throats.

They'll get a chance to rekindle their adversarial relationship on Sunday night. This matchup is the most contentious in recent memory, shaped by a transaction that left the football world reeling back in August.

On Aug. 28, Dallas sent All-Pro EDGE Micah Parsons to Green Bay in exchange for DT Kenny Clark and two first-round picks. The two teams have gone in different directions since then, with the Cowboys limping to a 1-2 record. The Packers, meanwhile, look like one of football's best sides and are garnering attention as a potential Super Bowl contender.

Sunday night's matchup doesn't just represent another chapter in Dallas and Green Bay's eternal rivalry. It's also Parsons' return to AT&T Stadium, where he is expected to receive an interesting reception from Dallas' faithful.

The Sporting News is tracking live updates from the Cowboys' Week 4 clash with the Packers. Follow below for highlights, analysis, and more as two of the NFL's most well-known teams duke it out under the lights.

Cowboys vs. Packers live updates, highlights from 'Sunday Night Football'

(All times Eastern)

10:13 p.m.: Prescott took a shot, looking for Jalen Tolbert on the fade. His effort sailed. Green Bay will take over deep in its own territory.

10:09 p.m.: We're back in action from AT&T Stadium. Dallas will attempt to build on its end-of-half fireworks to start the third.

End of second quarter: Cowboys 16, Packers 13

9:49 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Prescott. Pickens! The Cowboys take the lead after the former Steelers wideout displaces his marker and snags the ball out the sky.

Cowboys 16, Packers 13

9:48 p.m.: FUMBLE! James Houston rips the ball out of Love's grasp and jumps over it inside of the Packers' 15-yard line! Dallas will have a chance to further cut into Green Bay's lead — or take the advantage for itself.

9:40 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Prescott takes advantage of Pickens' acrobatics. Two plays later, the Mississippi State alum sneaks into the end zone courtesy of a QB sneak. The Cowboys are back in this.

Packers 13, Cowboys 9

9:38 p.m.: Dallas desperately needs some points on its final possession of the first half. George Pickens took notice, ripping the ball out of the sky over two defenders to put the Cowboys on the goal line. That's just what the doctor ordered in Big D.

9:25 p.m.: Green Bay's fourth drive of the day sputtered out after collecting a first down via an unnecessary roughness. Dallas will looks to cut into the Packers' advantage after forcing the punt.

9:15 p.m.: Another Dallas drive goes wanting. The Cowboys are forced to dump the ball off after three plays as Green Bay attempts to add to its advantage.

9:07 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! The Packers add to their advantage, with Love hitting Doubs for his second score of the game. The subsequent PAT was summarily swatted away and brought back for a score by Dallas, so it's just six for Green Bay.

Packers 13, Cowboys 2

9:05 p.m.: Green Bay is once more humming, having bypassed Dallas' weary defense to bring the ball into the Cowboys' half. Things looked a bit hairy for Love and Co. partway into the drive. The star delivered an errant throw that fell into Trevon Diggs' grasp. However, the play was called back after Dallas was whistled for too many men on the field. A few plays later and Green Bay is at the goal line courtesy of a 28-yard pitch-and-catch between Love and Josh Jacobs.

End of first quarter: Packers 7, Cowboys 0

8:55 p.m.: The Cowboys have struggled with offense thus far. They gave the ball back to Green Bay after a short drive.

8:45 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Green Bay opens it scoring account with ease, with Jordan Love finding Matthew Golden into the red zone. Love capped the drive with a dart to Romeo Doubs for six.

Packers 7, Cowboys 0

8:30 I.m.: And we're off! The Packers will receive the ball first!

7:30 p.m.: The stars are out ahead of the Cowboys' clash with the Packers. Chief among them: former Packers QB Brett Favre.

6:45 p.m.: Micah Parsons looking spiffy ahead of tonight's contest. Given the stakes of the clash, it's easy to understand why he's draped in such fine furs.
