NFL Combine results tracker: Live updates, highlights, top performers from 2023 draft workouts image

The NFL Combine returned last year after a COVID-19 cancellation in 2021, and the event is back in full force this year.

Hundreds of NFL Draft prospects are in Indianapolis for measurements, medical testing, interviews, and on-field drills as teams prepare to finalize their draft boards.

There are plenty of questions surrounding some of the top quarterback prospects in this draft, including Bryce Young's size and Anthony Richardson's arm. The combine should take teams a step closer to finding those answers.

While there are a few major factors that can affect a player's stock leading up to the draft, fans will want to have eyes on the measurements and n-field results by the prospects. More than a few prospects have separated themselves by standing out in Indianapolis, and this year will be no different.

Saturday, March 4

7:10 p.m. -- If you're looking for a blocking tight end in this draft, Darnell Washington is your guy.

6:15 p.m. -- The tight ends have completed their vertical jumps, with Old Dominion's Zack Kuntz leading the way. Scroll to our results tables below to see the full numbers.

6:10 p.m. -- Impressive day by C.J. Stroud. Time will tell if it's enough to make him the first quarterback off the board in April.

6:00 p.m. -- Pretty incredible angle of a great throw by Anthony Richardson.

5:15 p.m. -- C.J. Stroud is starting to throw in Indianapolis.

4:31 p.m. -- Nebraska's Trey Palmer shows off the jets, posting the new fastest time among wide receivers at 4.33.

4:12 p.m. -- A 4.44u 40 time? That's about as impressive as it gets from Anthony Richardson.

3:38 p.m. -- Levis said he wanted to show off his cannon arm. He's been doing just that.

3:16 p.m. -- Anthony Richardson is out at the combine breaking records. He has now set new marks in the vertical at 40.5 inches and the broad jump at 10'9".

3:01 p.m. -- Will Levis has been one of the most polarizing NFL prospects in this year's class, but he's showing why he has plenty of believers.

2:33 p.m. -- Boston College's Zay Flowers makes the gauntlet drill look easy.

1:50 p.m. -- Bryce Ford-Wheaton has posted some standout numbers at the combine, including with his 40 time, which was second behind Davis among wide receivers.

1:38 p.m. -- Another Horned Frog with some impressive speed as wide receiver Derius Davis posts a blazing unofficial 40 time of 4.37, which is the fastest so far among wide receivers.

1:17 p.m. -- TCU's Max Duggan showed himself to be a standout dual-threat quarterback in leading the Horned Frogs to the national championship game. He posted an unofficial 4.52 40 time to back up that speed.

1:08 p.m. -- Tennessee receiver Jalin Hyatt is already putting on an impressive performance at the NFL combine with an 11'3" broad jump and 40-inch vertical.

Friday, March 3

4:49 p.m. -- Oregon CB Christian Gonzalez ran a 4.38 40-yard dash on his second attempt. Strong day for the potential first cornerback off the board, who also had a 41.5-inch vertical jump.

3:52 p.m. -- Wow, an unofficial 4.27 40-yard dash for Michigan CB D.J. Turner.

3:33 p.m. -- Mississippi State's Emmanuel Forbes continues to impress and boost his draft stock at the combine.

3:30 p.m. -- Maryland's defensive backs are delivering some fast times in Indianapolis, with Jakorian Bennett getting in on the action.

3:25 p.m. -- Maryland's Deonte Banks followed up an impressive 42 inch vertical with a blazing 4.36 in his first try at the 40 yard dash.

3:21 p.m. -- Alabama's Eli Ricks and Illinois' Devon Witherspoon will also not participate in field drills.

3:17 p.m. -- After taking part in measurements earlier today, Penn State's Joey Porter Jr. will run the 40 yard dash, but not participate in other field drills.

2:49 p.m. -- Utah's Dalton Kincaid, considered one of the best tight ends in the draft, will not participate in any drills at the combine as he recovers from a back injury.

2:37 p.m. -- Kansas State cornerback Julius Brents is putting on a show today in workouts. Brents broad jumped 11'6" which is the furthest result in the drill since 2003, according to NFL.com.

12:58 p.m. -- Penn State's Joey Porter Jr. is getting a lot of buzz for his long arms, especially for a cornerback.

11:20 a.m. -- Michigan's Mazi Smith, listed in college at 6-3, 337 pounds, put on a show in the combine weight room.

10:40 a.m. -- Kentucky QB Will Levis is among the more polarizing players at the top of draft boards. Plenty of eyes will be on him Saturday, and he isn't lacking confidence.

8:42 a.m. -- Jaxon Smith-Njigba battled a hamstring issue through the end of his final season at Ohio State but he's most of the way back. He told reporters today he plans to do everything but the 40-yard dash when wide receivers hit the field Saturday.

8:35 a.m. -- C.J. Stroud has met formally with the Bears, who own the top overall pick, but made it clear he believes Justin Fields is the man at QB in Chicago.

8:20 a.m. -- The quarterbacks are meeting with the media this morning, with Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud the star attractions. The former Alabama star's official measurements are among the most eagerly anticipated data of the combine, but Young shrugged off concerns about his size hindering him at the next level.

7:10 a.m. -- Illinois corner Devon Witherspoon has a hamstring injury and won't participate in on-field drills Friday, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. A likely first-round pick, Witherspoon ranks 23rd on the Sporting News big board of draft prospects.

Thursday, March 2

8:55 p.m. -- Auburn's Owen Pappoe led the linebackers with a sub-4.4 40-yard dash.

7:14 p.m. -- An unofficial 4.69 40-yard dash for Will Anderson Jr.

7:10 p.m. -- Northwestern's Adetomiwa Adebawore, 282 pounds, with some stunning numbers today.

7:00 p.m. -- Smith might have stolen the show, but Young's 40 time is one of the top five fastest by a defensive end in the last 21 years.

5:49 p.m. -- Nolan Smith is a freak.

5:25 p.m. -- Tennesee's Byron Young (not to be confused with Alabama's Byron Young) has blazing speed for an edge rusher. So far, only Georgia's Nolan Smith has a faster 40 time among DEs.

4:56 p.m. -- Huge number from Georgia's Nolan Smith, whose 2022 season ended with an injury.

4:11 p.m. -- Well now.

4:06 p.m. -- Pittsburgh DT Calijah Kancey is receiving buzz for his combine performance so far. His 4.73 40-yard dash was the fastest by a defensive tackle since fellow Pitt alum Aaron Donald in 2014.

4:03 p.m. -- The start of the NFL Combine only means one thing: #FootballOnAStick

3:10 p.m. -- Add Michigan nose tackle Mazi Smith to those who won't do on-field drills in Indy. Smith, who ranks 60th on SN's Big Board, will wait until Michigan's pro day on March 17 to work out, per ESPN's Jordan Reid.

2:30 p.m. -- Jalen Carter is back in Indianapolis and has been meeting with NFL teams today after returning to Georgia on Wednesday to be booked into jail, then released on bond on two misdemeanor charges related to the crash that killed a teammate and a UGA recruiting staffer last month.

Word had emerged earlier in the week that Carter didn't plan to work out in Indy and would instead wait until Georgia's pro day on March 15 to do field drills. That remains the case, but NFL Network reported Carter will be on the field "supporting" the other defensive linemen today.

2:20 p.m. -- Iowa State edge rusher Will McDonald IV plans to work out today despite having "a fever close to 104 degrees" Tuesday night, according to Peter Schrager.

1:00 p.m. -- It's almost time for the prospects to take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium, and while the wide receivers and defensive backs are the center of attention when it comes to the 40-yard dash, Amare Barno's run last year was a reminder of the athleticism on display across the board.
