A winding football journey for A.J. Ouellette led to Grey Cup glory on Sunday night for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
In the 112th edition of the CFL championship game, Ouellette ran 17 times for 83 yards and a touchdown to help hold off Montreal.
He's originally from Covington, Ohio.
Ouellette played his college football at Ohio University for the Bobcats.
He twice surpassed 1,000 yards in a season for OU.

Out of college, Ouellette had short contract stints with the New Orleans Saints and the Cleveland Browns.
He then signed with the Toronto Argonauts, for whom he won a Grey Cup in 2022.
Ouellette signed with the Roughriders before the 2024 season.
And now in his second year with Saskatchewan, Ouellette has another Grey Cup crown.
He helped the Roughriders close things out on Sunday night with some powerful running while that long blonde hair flowed out of Ouellette's helmet.
And in the end, he got to celebrate.
