The Browns and the Bengals kick off the 2025 season with a big AFC West showdown in Week 1.

Both teams missed the postseason a year ago, with the Browns going 3-14 and finishing fourth in the division, while the Bengals went 9-8 to finish third.

Cleveland will start Joe Flacco at quarterback despite drafting Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders this spring. Cincinnati, of course, still has Joe Burrow after he threw for 43 touchdowns in 2024. The Bengals also kept their core of Tee Higgins, Ja'Marr Chase and Chase Brown on offense and just paid edge rusher Trey Hendrickson this offseason.

The Bengals hold a 55-48 all-time series lead over the Browns, including winning three of the past four games.
