Brock Bowers was understood to be a potential NFL star from the moment he stepped on the field at Georgia.

A central part of the Bulldogs' offense as early as his freshman season, Bowers stood above the rest from a young age and earned his way to the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft after a three-year stint in Athens that saw him win two national championships.

Since entering the NFL, Bowers has only validated the Raiders' belief that he could develop into one of football's most dynamic weapons at the tight position — and his family offers some hints at where he found his athleticism.

Here's what you need to know about Bowers' family, including his athlete parents and sister.

Brock Bowers dad: Warren Bowers

Bowers' father, Warren, played center at Utah State, earning All-Big West honors in 1990, 1991 and 1992. Warren joined rare company as a three-time all-conference member, as he was only the sixth Utah State player at the time to earn three selections.

Despite Warren's success on the field, the Aggies hovered near .500 during his time with the program.

While details about Warren's life after football are limited, he lists himself as president and co-founder of Bruce Tucker Construction in the family's hometown of Napa, California with "over 30 years of experience in the construction industry."

Brock Bowers mom: DeAnna Earsley-Bowers

Bowers' mother, DeAnna, played softball at Utah State and remains one of the Aggies' most revered athletes. An All-American pitcher — one of seven softball players in school history to achieve the feat — DeAnna was inducted into Utah State's athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.

DeAnna helped power the Aggies to the NCAA Tournament in 1992 and 1993, posting a sparkling 0.82 ERA over 247 innings as a senior; she is one of two Utah State pitchers to win at least 20 games in multiple seasons.

DeAnna met her husband, Warren, while at Utah State. She became a math teacher at Napa High School while raising a son who would become one of the NFL's most prominent tight ends.

DeAnna frequently tweets messages of support for her son and the Raiders, also defending her son on social media when necessary.

Brock Bowers sister: Brianna Bowers

Bowers' sister, Brianna, played softball close to home at Sacramento State after graduating high school in 2018.

Brianna was an honorable mention for the All-Big Sky team as a true freshman in 2019, batting .333 over 43 games, but she missed considerable time with injury in both her sophomore and junior seasons, only appearing in 12 contests.

Brock Bowers girlfriend: Cameron Newell

Bowers started dating his girlfriend, Cameron Newell, while the two were in high school, though they didn't go to the same high school. Bowers attended Napa High School, while Newell attended nearby Justin-Siena High School. The pair still went to prom together, and they have remained together ever since.

Newell frequently supported Bowers during his Georgia football career, but she actually spent her college days at an SEC rival. Newell graduated from Tennessee in 2025 with a marketing degree.

Despite the distance, Newell continued to support Bowers and was in attendance for his first game in Las Vegas with the Raiders.

Where is Brock Bowers from?

Bowers was born and raised in Napa, California, a city sandwiched between the Bay Area (formerly the home of the Raiders) and Sacramento. Napa County is nationally famous for its wineries.

Bowers attended Napa High School, playing football and basketball at the school. After playing as a tight end and linebacker on the varsity team for two seasons, Bowers' senior football season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Already a four-star recruit who ranked No. 59 in the class of 2021, according to 247 Sports, Bowers committed to Georgia before his senior year of high school and maintained that commitment, enrolling early to get himself a head start on his freshman season.

Now, Bowers is one state over in Nevada looking to bring the Raiders back to relevance in the AFC West.
