LIVE: Follow Bengals vs. Chiefs updates from AFC championship game

Sunday's clash between Kansas City and Cincinnati will be a rematch of last year's conference championship. Joe Burrow and the Bengals won that game to punch their ticket to the 2022 Super Bowl. Now, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will get their chance at revenge.

The Bengals are coming off of a stunning blowout win in Buffalo last weekend. They dominated the Bills from start to finish, with Joe Burrow looking at the top of his game despite playing behind a ramshackle offensive line.

Many experts spent the regular season debating whether Buffalo or Kansas City was the team to beat in the AFC, but Cincy beat both this season. They have proven once again they belong in the conversation as one of the NFL's elite teams.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs took down the Jaguars last weekend, 27-20, to advance. But the big story is the health of Mahomes, who suffered a high ankle sprain on a play during the first quarter. He was sidelined for a single drive before returning, but he never looked 100% the rest of the game. He has said he's "gonna play" this Sunday, but he may be a little hobbled.

It's the fifth consecutive conference championship appearance for Andy Reid's men, and they'll be looking to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl for the third time in four seasons.

Can Burrow and the Bengals pull off another memorable win in Arrowhead? Or will the Chiefs make it back to football's biggest game?
