It has been a brutal season for New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson.

Not only is he stuck on one of the worst offenses in the NFL, but Wilson has also been in and out of the lineup after never having missed a game during the first three years of his career.

Wilson suffered a hyperextended knee in Week 6 that forced him to miss a few games, then he aggravated the injury in Week 10 and has since been placed on injured reserve.

Here's what we know about Wilson's prospects of returning in Week 13.

Will Garrett Wilson return in Week 13?

No, Wilson will not be back in Week 13.

Because of his placement on injured reserve, Wilson is forced to miss at least four games.

After sitting out in Weeks 11 and 12, Wilson still has two more games to miss before he's eligible to return. Knowing that, Wilson will be eligible to be activated off the injured reserve list in Week 15.

While there's no guarantee Wilson will be ready to return when first eligible, ESPN's Rich Cimini reported that the Jets wideout was expected to miss three to four weeks with his latest injury, so it appears there's a chance he'll indeed return in Week 15.

The Jets have to decide if they're actually going to bring Wilson back with nothing to play for in terms of the playoffs. Doing so would risk Wilson suffering another injury in meaningless games that could impact him for 2026.

That said, head coach Aaron Glenn wants to win games, so there's a very good chance he'll be keen on getting his best wide receiver back.
