The New York Jets quarterback situation has been chaotic this year, and it took another turn against the Miami Dolphins.
Jets starting QB Tyrod Taylor left the game in the first half against Miami as New York looked to build off last week's win. With Justin Fields also injured, the Jets could not afford to lose Taylor.
Making matters worse, the Jets were down 21-0 at the time of the injury, so the team may have to dig deep to complete a comeback. Here's the latest on Taylor.

It's unclear exactly when Taylor suffered the injury, but the veteran quarterback has always battled injury issues in his career. With Taylor out, and Justin Fields also missing the game, rookie QB Brady Cook is now in for the Jets.

Taylor took over the starting job from Fields a few weeks ago, as he has started four games this year. Fields, who began the year as the starter, was an injured inactive for this game.
That made undrafted free agent Brady Cook Taylor's backup against Miami. Cook spent his entire, five-year college career at Missouri, but he was not drafted and signed with the Jets in the offseason.
