The New York Jets have had another historically bad season, officially finishing the year 3-14 after a loss to the Buffalo Bills Sunday.

In that game, the Jets defense failed to record an interception, marking the first time in NFL history that a team has went an entire season without recording an interception since the stat has been recorded.

Additionally, the Jets finished with 122 total yards, including only 60 passing yards.

For the entire year, the Jets totaled 742 total passing yards in the first half. This marks the first time since 2000 that a team has finished with less than 800 first half passing yards in a season. The most recent team to come close was the 2011 Denver Broncos, who finished the season with 820 first half passing yards with former Jets quarterback and 2007 Heisman Trophy award winner Tim Tebow.

Despite their passing woes, the Broncos won the AFC West that season, finishing with an 8-8 record.

As for the Jets though, there's no secret that they need to improve their production in the passing game heading into 2026. After a rough year with Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor splitting time at quarterback, it's likely that the Jets will go in another direction next season. That said, it's uncertain who that could be.

Regardless, all eyes will be on New York and head coach Aaron Glenn as the Jets hope to get back in playoff contention, a feat they haven't achieved since 2010.
