The New York Jets are the NFL's only remaining winless team after seven weeks of the 2025 season. New York had high hopes entering the year, making it clear Justin Fields was their guy by giving him a two-year, $40 million deal with $30 million guaranteed after he went 4-2 in 2024 with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Jets may already be regretting that decision, as Fields and the Jets offense has been awful. They rank 29th in EPA per play, and their 143.9 passing yards per game are the lowest in the NFL. Week 7 was a new low for the Jets, as they failed to reach the end zone in a 13-6 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Owner Woody Johnson is clearly fed up with the team's performance, and let it be known at the fall owner's meeting.

“If we could just complete a pass, it would look good," Johnson said via Albert Breer.

Fields started the game against Carolina going 6-of-12 for 46 yards before he was yanked for Tyrod Taylor, who completed less than 50 percent of his passes and threw two interceptions. It's hard to find a win on the Jets' schedule, especially if their offense continues to lack any sort of explosiveness.
