The New York Jets are in the middle of a rebuilding season, and at 3-10, are likely more than okay with losing their final few games down the stretch to secure the number one pick.

All season, Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor have led the charge, but for Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, it's going to be a different quarterback at the helm for the Jets.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn announced that Brady Cook, an undrafted free agent, will get his first start in the NFL, as Taylor and Fields both won't play in the Week 15 Jaguars matchup.

"Coach Glenn announced that Brady Cook will start Sunday against the Jaguars," the Jets social media account announced.

Cook got his first NFL action in Week 14 when Taylor left the game early. In relief of Taylor against the Miami Dolphins, Cook went 14-for-30 for 163 passing yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

In the preseason, Cook went 25 of 38 for 235 yards with one touchdown and one interception. While he didn't earn a spot on the initial 53-man roster, he stuck on the practice squad and got his first chance last week to play in the NFL.

Now, Cook will make his NFL starting debut against a red-hot Jaguars team looking to cement their lead in the AFC South.

The 24-year-old rookie quarterback went undrafted out of Missouri after a solid season for the Tigers. He had 2,535 passing yards with 11 touchdowns and two interceptions to go with 223 rushing yards and five touchdowns.

He is now suiting up for the Jets in Week 15, as the 3-10 Jets look to finish out a rough season with their third quarterback to make a start this season.
