The New York Jets made unfortunate NFL history on Sunday during their 29-6 defeat at the hands of the New Orleans Saints.
For the 15th consecutive game, the Jets failed to record an interception, marking the longest streak in NFL history that a team has gone without a pick.
Despite Aaron Glenn's best efforts, including emphasizing it in practices, New York just can't bring one in.
Jets' interception-less streak extends to 15 games
Head coach Aaron Glenn was asked in his postgame press conference about the positives from Week 16.
"The one that I asked our players to do, it was to play with effort. I thought our guys did that. I thought they went out there and they fought hard," Glenn told reporters.
"They did everything they could to keep us in this game."
While their best efforts weren't good enough to pull down an interception, the Jets did manage to force a fumble and recover it.
It was only their third takeaway of the season.
With two games to go, New York will have the opportunity to pick off New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
Both quarterbacks have done a good job this season protecting the football. Maye has seven interceptions while Allen has 10.
It will be interesting to watch and see if the Jets become the first team in NFL history to go an entire season without a turnover through the air.
