The New York Jets have a chance to join the company of the Dayton Triangles, Duluth Eskimos and Columbus Panhandles.

Yeah, those really were NFL teams, way back in the 1920s. They're also the last teams in the NFL to ever have three brothers playing on the same team, per ESPN's Rich Cimini.

The Jets already have two bros locked in: Quinnen Williams and Quincy Williams.

There's a long way to go for the little brother, Giovanni Williams, who is in Jets rookie minicamp this week.

Giovanni played his college ball at Miles College, a D-II school in Fairfield, Alabama.

“It feels good,” Giovanni Williams told the Associated Press on Saturday. “It feels, I’d say, honestly, bittersweet just because living behind them, making my own name, I had to still live behind them. But it’s sweet because me and my brother (Quincy) play the same position. So it’s like, I can call on him for help and we’ve got the same competition level. So it’s going to be like competition, just like always. Just like we’re back home, just a big competition.”

Quincy is the oldest brother and a middle linebacker.

Quinnen was the highest draft pick, No. 3 overall, and is one of the NFL's top defensive tackles.

Giovanni began his college career at Texas A&M-Kingsville then went to Miles. He had 29 tackles in 11 games last season.

Apparently, Giovanni has dropped more than 100 pounds since high school. He said Saturday he weighed 350 in high school, and now he's about 220.

If nothing else, it's a cool story.

“I just think it’s outstanding that he has a Jets jersey on and both of his brothers are actually here with us, so it’s a beautiful story,” head coach Aaron Glenn said. “He’s working his butt off.”
