The New York Jets are coming off a rough Week 11 matchup against the New England Patriots. Losing 27-14, the Jets' offense struggled once again with Justin Fields at quarterback.

Apparently, that was enough for Aaron Glenn, as according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Jets are benching Fields for Tyrod Taylor. It's a big move for the Jets, but an even bigger move for fantasy managers.

The benching of Fields for Taylor changes the quarterback landscape in fantasy, but more importantly, it changes the outlook for Breece Hall, Mason Taylor, and the Jets' wide receivers. And for fantasy managers, it's not a negative change.

Fantasy outlook for Jets WRs, Breece Hall, and Mason Taylor amid QB change

So far this season, there's only one example of Taylor being the Jets' starting quarterback. All the way back in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Fields was out with an injury, and Taylor started.

Hall finished with 21 rushing yards on nine attempts, with four catches on six targets for 31 yards. While not a great fantasy performance, the six targets tied a season-high, and opened the door for better days going forward as a pass catcher.

Mason Taylor saw the first signs of an uptick in usage, getting six targets and four catches for 18 yards from Taylor. While he wound up having better days with Fields later in the year, he was wildly inconsistent with Fields as the starter this season.

The biggest beneficiary of this quarterback change was the wide receivers. Garrett Wilson had 13 targets for 10 receptions, 84 yards, and a touchdown. Tyler Johnson had two catches for 32 yards on three targets, and Allen Lazard had two catches for 13 yards and a touchdown on three targets.

Wilson won't play for the next three weeks at minimum, leaving Adonai Mitchell, John Metchie, Isaiah Williams, Tyler Johnson, Allen Lazard, and Arian Smith as the team's wide receivers.

For fantasy managers, Mitchell is an intriguing player to keep in mind. While he had multiple drops against the Patriots, he had six targets and was on the field often for the Jets.

Metchie might be the safest option, as he hauled in three receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown in his second game with the Jets. He also played the most snaps of any Jets wide receiver against the Patriots.

If a fantasy manager needs a wide receiver or Flex play for Week 12 and beyond, Metchie is a solid waiver wire pickup. Mitchell is a big risk due to his drop issues, but his big-play ability could make Mitchell fantasy relevant in Week 12 and beyond.

Overall, the Jets' passing offense will see a significant boost with Taylor as the starting quarterback, making Taylor a viable starting tight end, Hall a better running back start, and Metchie and Mitchell waiver wire targets.
