First-year head coach Aaron Glenn and the New York Jets' season have been a struggle, and on Sunday, the woes continued.

The team got manhandled by its division rival, the New England Patriots, at MetLife Stadium, 42-10, where Patriots quarterback Drake Maye fueled his MVP campaign with five touchdowns for 256 yards and missed only two throws, even though he didn't play the whole game.

Running back Breece Hall was responsible for the only score by the Jets after breaking off a 59-yard rush for a touchdown, and he made history in the process with his performance.

Hall became the first back to have 1,000 rushing yards for the organization since 2015, when Chris Ivory did it with 1,070. Hall will enter the final game of the regular season five yards off that total.

During the post-game press conference, Hall was asked about his thoughts on achieving this milestone.

"It's cool, it sucks that it had to happen in a loss or whatever, felt like I should have even gotten to that mark a few weeks ago, but it's just been a lot going on... It's been tough, but it's a blessing, I'm blessed to be in this position," Hall proclaimed.

A visibly dejected Hall speaks volumes about how the Jets' season has gone, but although the running back was the team's only consistent player, Hall's future with the team after this season is up in the air.

Last month, during the NFL Trade Deadline, it was rumored that the Jets almost traded Hall to the Kansas City Chiefs, but the former back-to-back champions were not willing to give up a third-round pick after initially offering a fourth-rounder.
