There are 32 teams in the NFL, and only one of them has yet to score a win in the 2025 season so far.

The New York Jets, fresh off of a 37-22 beating at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys despite great play from quarterback Justin Fields and wide receiver Garrett Wilson, now face a decision to make, continue to grind with what they have, or enter a process of rebuild, which many fans would argue is what they've been doing for the past 15 years.

But according to one speculation, another one of the team's elite players could be calling a new team home.

Breece Hall Linked To Trade With Kansas City Chiefs

The Jets and star running back Breece Hall have been linked in trade talks amidst the team's struggles, and with the back on a soon-to-expire contract, should the Jets decide not to renew his deal for any reason, there would be plenty of teams willing to add Hall to their backfield.

And according to Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report, amongst those teams are the reigning AFC Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, though their running back room is loaded as is.

"Expect the Jets to part with multiple players from the former regime. Running back Breece Hall is one of those. He's also an impending 2026 free agent who is likely to depart in the offseason anyway," Knox writes. "While Braelon Allen's knee injury would make it a little tougher for New York to justify moving its starting back, building for the future should be the top priority."

Should Hall join the team, he would join a room that also includes Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco, though Hall's elusiveness and skills in the receiving game should set him apart from the most powerful running style of the other two backs.
