The New York Jets will have their hands full on Sunday when they travel to Maryland to take on the Baltimore Ravens.
New York enters as a near two-touchdown underdog against the red-hot Ravens, who have won four straight, three with quarterback Lamar Jackson back under center.
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn discussed at his Friday press conference the struggles of defending a two-time league MVP like Jackson.
Aaron Glenn discusses playing against Lamar Jackson
Glenn was asked if Jackson has looked like himself the last few weeks, considering he's been dealing with nagging injuries all season long.
"You know he does, he does. And if he doesn't look like himself, he still looks pretty [expletive] good," Glenn said to the press.
"So, again he'll be a challenge like he is with everybody else, so we have to be on our P's and Q's defensively to make sure we contain him."
Containing Jackson is easier said than done, but New York will certainly try their best on Sunday.
So far this season, the former Louisville standout has completed 68% of his passes for 1442 yards, tossing 14 touchdowns to only three interceptions in seven starts.
He's still running the ball effectively as well, averaging 5.8 yards per carry with one touchdown on the ground.
The Jets will have to find a way to slow Jackson down, while also keeping Derrick Henry in check, if they want to find a way to win against the Ravens.
