Lil'Jordan Humphrey has the tendency to sneak up on football fans.

He's moved teams a few times now, and he doesn't always see gameday action.

So when he does, it's a fun surprise.

Humphrey was out there on Thursday Night Football for the New York Giants. They elevated him from the practice squad for the Week 6 opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.

And very early on, Humphrey made a sweet jump ball catch from Jaxson Dart.

The Amazon Prime broadcast pointed out that when Dart was a backup over the summer, he threw to Humphrey a lot, and so now, he had trust in him.

And it never hurts that he's got such a cool name.

Is Lil'Jordan Humphrey his real name?

Yes, Lil'Jordan Humphrey is his real name.

He was named after Michael Jordan, the NBA legend.

His mother picked Lil'Jordan because there was already a Michael in the family, so they went with MJ's last name.

And apparently they liked the idea of Lil'Jordan as the first name and not just Jordan.

He's 6-foot-4 now, so he's not exactly little.

It's one of the best names in football.
