The New York Giants' secondary was dealt a tough blow right before the Week 11 game against the Green Bay Packers.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, cornerback Paulson Adebo has suffered an injury that will keep him out of the contest on Sunday.

Garafolo adds that Adebo "felt some discomfort" in his knee during warm-ups and has been downgraded to out as a result.

"Giants CB Paulson Adebo felt some discomfort in his knee after pregame warmups and has been downgraded to out for today’s game against the Packers, per the team," Garafolo reported.

Adebo was on the Giants' injury report with a knee issue during the week. He was given a questionable tag after being limited all week. He was not on the team's list of inactives, so he was initially going to play.

Adebo has started in all seven games he has played in this season and has recorded a completion rate allowed of 63.6% and a passer rating of 92.8 when targeted.

The Giants' 2023 first-round pick, Deonte Banks, will likely get the nod in place of Adebo. It's a golden opportunity for Banks, who has taken a back seat to Cor'Dale Flott on the boundary this season.
