The New York Giants have come close to having several more wins in 2025 than the two they currently have. They held a two-score lead against the Detroit Lions in Week 12, and nearly pulled off an upset over the Green Bay Packers the week prior.

Both of these games came with Jameis Winston under center, but that may not be the case on Monday night when the Giants face the New England Patriots. Per Adam Schefter, Jaxson Dart was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, which means it looks as if the Giants are gearing up for Dart to play.

"Giants said QB Jaxon Dart was a full participant in today’s practice, giving him a chance to make his first start on Monday Night Football vs. The Patriots," Schefter reports.

Dart suffered a concussion in the Giants' loss to the Chicago Bears, which ended up being the final nail in the coffin for Brian Daboll, who was fired after blowing yet another fourth-quarter lead.

Dart had cemented himself as a Rookie of the Year candidate in his first month as the starter. He won his first start over the Los Angeles Chargers, and defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football.  At the time of the latter win, the Giants were 2-4. And while that record may not be saying much, he, along with fellow rookie Cam Skattebo, gave hope to fans who haven't had it in quite sometime.
