All eyes are now on New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers ahead of the team's Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

On Wednesday afternoon, Giants head coach Brian Daboll said before practice that Nabers would not take part. Unfortunately, Daboll didn't offer any specifics beyond that.

"Also, Daboll said WR Malik Nabers won’t practice today. Didn’t get a chance to ask about his status," The Athletic's Dan Duggan reported.

Nabers made an appearance on the Giants' injury report over the first two weeks of the season with a back issue, but he was not on it last week.

This marks the second time this season Nabers hasn't practiced. He missed the final session before Week 1 but ended up playing.

Following the Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, there was no report of any injury for Nabers. He did appear to get banged-up during the game after an incomplete pass in the end zone but managed to stay in the contest.

Nabers is already a crucial part of the Giants' offense, but he's even more important this week with the Giants giving the football to rookie Jaxson Dart, who is making his NFL debut.

Not having Nabers would make an already tough matchup against the Chargers' elite defense even more difficult.

If Nabers doesn't go, guys like Darius Slayton and Wan'Dale Robinson would likely get a boost. We could also see Jalin Hyatt get more involved.
