The New York Giants officially have their quarterback of the present and the future all in one.
His name is Jaxson Dart, and now he just needs some help.
The Giants likely feel good about their running back situation, too, with Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy.
Wide receiver would be all set if not for the fact that Malik Nabers is out for the season. Without Nabers, there's ground to be made up out wide.
ESPN's Bill Barnwell has suggested a trade, one that sends cornerback Deonte Banks to the Las Vegas Raiders for Jakobi Meyers and a mid-round pick upgrade.

Meyers is in the last year of a three-year, $33 million deal, and he requested a trade in the offseason that so far has not been granted. But given the Raiders' struggles, it wouldn't be surprising to see Meyers moved before the deadline.
"I'm not sure I would typically advocate for a 2-4 team to add a 28-year-old receiver about to enter free agency, but given how much the heads of the Giants organization have riding on Dart's success in 2025 for their own futures, this might be an exception," Barnwell writes.
Banks was a recent first-round pick, so giving up on him can't feel great for the Giants. But he also was benched already this season, so it's not like the vibes there are great.
A partnership between Meyers and Wan'Dale Robinson for the rest of the season would give Dart two WRs who are very good at getting open and using their strong hands to extend drives.
The Giants are just one streak away from being a very interesting team even this season, so getting someone like Meyers in sooner rather than later could be the jolt they need.
