The New York Giants are keeping their options open.

In the quest to replace Brian Daboll (and ensuing interim Mike Kafka) as their head football coach, the Giants are bringing in a number of the biggest names on the market.

They're set to interview former Browns coach Kevin Stefanski. They're believed to be in on surprisingly fired Ravens coach John Harbaugh.

And on Wednesday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Giants plan to interview former Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy.

McCarthy's most successful NFL head-coaching stint wasn't with the Cowboys, though.

He teamed with QB Aaron Rodgers to win a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers.

This is a crucial search for the Giants to get right. They've stuck behind GM Joe Schoen despite recent struggles, and his job surely is riding on making the right choice here.

The Giants have an appealing roster for a coach who believes in building a team up. QB Jaxson Dart showed promise as a rookie, and a number of other skill position players are young and talented.

Do veteran coaches like McCarthy, Stefanski and Harbaugh want to inherit a team with plenty of deficiencies but also potential? We'll find out.
