The NFL head coaching carousel could become very intriguing this offseason, especially if Mike Tomlin hits the market and departs from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With the Steelers underwhelming once again and likely heading for another early playoff exit, if they make it, questions have arisen surrounding Tomlin's future with the franchise.

Pittsburgh is unlikely to fire Tomlin, who has spent 19 years with the organization. However, it's clear that a fresh start is needed for both sides. That is why Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox lists the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants, and Las Vegas Raiders as ideal landing spots for Tomlin if he and the Steelers decide to go separate ways.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game since the 2016 season, and has been commanding a ship of mediocrity with the Steelers over the last few years. However, there's no denying that Tomlin can change culture and steer a franchise in the right direction as a head coach.

The Bengals, Giants, and Raiders could all use culture shifts, as Cincinnati looks to have reached its peak with Zac Taylor, New York is looking for a Brian Daboll replacement, and Year 1 of the Pete Carroll era has gone completely wrong for Las Vegas.

Though Tomlin wouldn't elevate any of these teams into Super Bowl contenders, he could deliver them a better shot at the playoffs and a clearer future. The Super Bowl XLIII champion has never had a losing season and always finds a way to pull out wins, despite having some rosters with little talent.

Overall, Tomlin would be a nice hire by the Bengals, Giants, or Raiders if he hits the coaching market, as he has the ability to revive those franchises back into relevancy. However, winning Super Bowls seems to be in the past for the legendary Steelers head coach.
