At the beginning of the season, it was the same old story for the New Orleans Saints, who started 2-8 through their first 10 games.
However, with the addition of second-round draft pick Tyler Shough, the Saints found a rhythm on offense and won four of their last five games to end the season. Even though the team missed the postseason for the fifth consecutive season, they showed plenty of promise for the future.
Another player who had an impressive showing this season for the Saints was wide receiver Chris Olave, a 2022 first-round pick. Coming into the league, Olave had many eyes on him to be among the elite, but injuries held him back, making him a huge name in the trade market. After this season, Olave has bounced back, but some people still suggest the team move him for a bigger-name receiver.

Saints podcast suggests the team should retain Chris Olave over A.J. Brown
On the 'Straight up Saints' podcast for Boot Krewe Media, co-host Chris Rosvoglou made a point about how the team should move surrounding the Saints making a potential move for multi-time Pro-Bowler receiver, A.J. Brown.
"The Saints shouldn't go into next season with the same WR room, but I wouldn't try to trade
for A.J. Brown. If I'm spending big on him at 29 years old or Chris Olave at 26, I'm going with Olave," Rosvoglou said.
Brown has also been in trade rumors throughout the season, mainly due to his issues with his role in the Eagles' offense, and with their playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, the rumors are only going to increase, but Rosvoglou let it known he doesn't believe that should be a move New Orleans should make at the expense of losing a young star in Chris Olave.
