The New Orleans Saints are making the trip to face the Carolina Panthers, and with that matchup on tap, the Saints will look to get their second win of the season.
For fantasy managers, the Saints have been a frustrating team. While Chris Olave has been solid, Alvin Kamara has been wildly inconsistent. The veteran running back hasn't been great, and recently, things have looked a lot worse.
He came into the Week 10 matchup questionable, but as the Saints announced, he's active and will play for New Orleans. The only issue is his workload has significantly decreased in recent weeks, leading to the big question of whether he's worth starting in Week 10 or not.
Should Alvin Kamara be in fantasy lineups in Week 10?
Kamara is active for the Saints and will face a Panthers team in the middle of the pack when it comes to allowing fantasy production to running backs in Full PPR leagues.

But the recent production is a major cause for concern. In each of the last two weeks, Kamara has run the ball just six times. He has no more than three targets in each of the last three weeks, and overall, has been a disappointment.
In Week 7, he had 5.9 points in Full PPR, and followed that weak performance up with 6.7 in Week 8, and finally, 0.7 in Week 9. He's seeing less work and has scored just one touchdown this season.
The Saints' offense has been bad this season, and since Tyler Shough took over, the offense hasn't been in Kamara's favor this season.

In Full PPR leagues, Kamara is averaging 9.2 points per game, which would make him a borderline Flex play. But, with his recent production being even worse, there's not a strong reason to start Kamara other than the hope of high volume.
But even his large workload has gone away, making Kamara a very risky play for fantasy managers in Week 10 against the Panthers.
If this were the 2024 version of Kamara and the Saints offense, he'd be a clear starting option. But, in 2025, Kamara isn't a sure-fire starter against a middle-of-the-road Panthers defense.
While Kamara was once an elite running back in fantasy, this decent matchup isn't as exploitable as it once was. Kamara is a hard player to start this week, and if fantasy managers have other options, they're likely better off sitting Kamara in Week 10.
