The New Orleans Saints (3-10) will look to make it a season sweep of their division rival, the Carolina Panthers (7-6), in Week 15.

In the first matchup, rookie quarterback Tyler Shough was able to pick up his first career win. This time, New Orleans will look to win back-to-back games for the first time this season after upsetting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.

However, unlike the first matchup against the Panthers, New Orleans will have to look for success without franchise running back Alvin Kamara.

Saints rule out RB Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) for third straight game

On Friday, the Saints ruled out running back Alvin Kamara for what will be his third straight absence, according to head coach Kellen Moore.

Kamara, 30, is suspected of dealing with an MCL sprain in his knee. This injury has also been paired with an ankle injury.

The longtime Saints running back is in danger of falling short of 1,000 total yards for the first time in his nine-year career. So far in 2025, Kamara has 657 total yards (471 rushing, 186 receiving) on the season.

New Orleans will look to lean on rookie running back Devin Neal once again in their matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

In the three games the 2025 sixth-round pick has started, he's totaled 125 rushing yards on 40 rush attempts, nine catches for 79 receiving yards, and one total touchdown.
