The New England Patriots are operating without left tackle Will Campbell for yet another game in Week 16.
Campbell isn't playing on Sunday night against the Baltimore Ravens because of an MCL injury he suffered in his knee a handful of weeks back.
Here's what we know about when he could be back.
Will Campbell injury update
Campbell was placed on injured reserve in Week 13 after suffering his knee injury in Week 12, which forces him to sit out at least four games.
If he makes it back after the four games are up, he'll be eligible to return for the Patriots' Week 18 game against the Miami Dolphins.
Yes, that is more than four weeks, but New England had its bye in Week 14 and bye weeks don't count toward the four-week minimum.
While the hope is that Campbell will be back by Week 18, that is not guaranteed to happen and it's possible he could be out for another week or more beyond that.
That's why it's even more important for the Patriots to wrap up the No. 1 seed, as it would give Campbell more time to get right without the risk of missing a postseason contest.
Ideally, Campbell makes it back by Week 18, which would give him a game to shake off the rust before the playoffs begin.
