The New England Patriots have a question mark at running back this week in the form of TreVeyon Henderson.
The rookie running back suffered a concussion last week that forced his early exit from the contest and ultimately led to him being questionable for Sunday.
Henderson did make progress through the concussion protocol this week, though, as he logged two limited practices before turning in a full session on Friday.
On Saturday, the Patriots made some roster moves that give us a hint at Henderson's status for the Week 17 showdown with the New York Jets.
TreVeyon Henderson injury update
The Patriots made several roster moves on Saturday, but none of them included the elevation of a running back from the practice squad, which is a clear sign the Patriots expect Henderson to play.
With New England only having two other running back backs on the active roster outside of Henderson (Rhamondre Stevenson, D'Ernest Johnson), the team would have elevated one from the practice squad if there was any chance Henderson wouldn't play.
We will still be looking out for the inactives an hour and a half before the 1 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday to make sure that Henderson is active, but right now it's looking good for him.
As far as those Patriots roster moves are concerned, the team placed wide receiver Mack Hollins on injured reserve, signed defensive tackle Jeremiah Pharms to the 53-man roster and elevated defensive back Kobee Minor and defensive lineman Leonard Taylor III from the practice squad.
