The New England Patriots have listed running back Rhamondre Stevenson as questionable for the Week 12 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Stevenson has missed three games in a row with a toe injury, but he was able to log two limited practices and one full session in the lead up to the Bengals game.
The full practice amounted to the first one for Stevenson since his injury, which was a clear sign of progress during the week.
On Sunday morning, here's what we know about Stevenson's chances of suiting up against the Bengals.
Is Rhamondre Stevenson playing today?
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Stevenson is expected to play in Week 12.
"Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson, who has not played since late October because of a toe injury, is expected to go Sunday, source said," Rapoport reported.
This falls in line with what head coach Mike Vrabel said during the week. Vrabel said he expected Stevenson to return to action on Sunday.
Rhamondre Stevenson start or sit advice
This is one of the week's most difficult things to navigate.
That's because rookie TreVeyon Henderson was very productive while Stevenson was sidelined, which has led to the idea that perhaps the rookie might continue to be heavily involved once Stevenson returns.
We would not anticipate that being the case, though, as Vrabel tends to be quite rigid and does not ride hype trains like the Henderson one we're all on.
Prior to his injury, Stevenson was operating as the lead back, with Henderson spelling him. We expect that to be the case on Sunday.
Knowing that, you're deploying Stevenson as a solid RB2 play in a matchup versus a Bengals defense giving up the most fantasy points per game to running backs.

TreVeyon Henderson start or sit advice
Unless we see some kind of report stating the Patriots are sticking with Henderson as the lead back, we have to believe Stevenson will return to his role.
That Stevenson role has led to Henderson seeing just 8.6 touches per contest in 2025, which just simply isn't enough to warrant starting the rookie.
A few things to consider, though: Stevenson might not get his full workload in his first game back, and the Bengals are surrendering more fantasy points per game to backs than any team in the NFL, so there's a chance both backs could eat.
But all of that is a pretty big leap of faith.
Knowing what we know about how the Patriots have deployed their backs this year, Henderson is a shaky, touchdown-dependent flex option in Week 12.
Verdict: Sit
