The New England Patriots will officially be shorthanded for their Week 10 clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On Friday, the Pats announced that two of their key offensive contributors will be out.

Rhamondre Stevenson will sit out again at the running back position.

And after injuring his hamstring last week, wide receiver Kayshon Boutte is out, too.

The Patriots enter the game at 7-2 and will take on the 6-2 Bucs in a key clash.

Tampa Bay ruled out two standouts on Friday, too, in the form of Chris Godwin and Bucky Irving.

For the Pats, Stevenson's continued absence will mean another active day in the backfield for TreVeyon Henderson. He will likely be supplemented again by Terrell Jennings.

Boutte's absence will free up more targets for Stefon Diggs and DeMario Douglas. The obvious replacement for Boutte is third-round rookie Kyle Williams.

"Kyle's been learning a lot of different positions; it's a lot of different personnel groups and alignments," Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters, via Mike Reiss. "I think he settled down. I'm excited that he'll probably get an opportunity here."

It's never an ideal time to be missing key offensive pieces, certainly not when heading into a matchup with another team that can put up the points.

The Patriots will rely on second-year quarterback Drake Maye to overcome these absences with another one of these remarkable games that he's been putting together throughout the 2025 NFL season.
