The New England Patriots didn't end up having a win to show for it.

But on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson showed how special he can be.

In the second quarter, Henderson broke away for a 52-yard touchdown.

Then in the fourth quarter, Henderson outdid himself with a 65-yard TD.

He finished the game with 14 carries for 148 yards and the two scores.

In the process, Henderson tied an NFL record.

Since 2000, Saquon Barkley was the leader in most 50-plus-yard rushing TDs as a rookie. He had four of them.

Adrian Peterson was second on that list, with three.

Henderson has now run for four of them himself, tying up with Barkley with time for Henderson to claim the record for himself.

The Patriots spent a lot of the season appearing to limit Henderson's usage. The second-round rookie out of Ohio State is clearly a star, but New England has been sure to use all its RBs, including on Sunday when Rhamondre Stevenson got the early work.

Lately, Henderson has proven he's on a level that the other guys aren't.

And when he breaks through the line and runs away from everyone, it's simply clear how special Henderson is and how special he's got the potential to be.
